Poppy

My name is Poppy I am only about two years old and scared witless. The people who gave me in here took me off someone who was treating me really badly so much so I am terrified of men. The only good thing is I am not aggressive even though I'm so scared. Ena says it will take a wee bit of time patience and loads of love and I should be fine to go to an all woman household. I did live with children in the last home and was very good with them, so much so the wee girl was in tears when I left.I'm now hiding behind my chair because a man spoke to me.

Ps: It would be really nice if someone who stayed near the kennels would be interested in me, then they could come and get to know me and that would be really good.

Update 12th July: Oh for more room at my house, I would have this girl in a flash. She is responding so well to myself and Mhairi, jumping up to greet us and wagging her tail she now wants to go for walks over the fields instead of hiding behind her chair. She is still very wary of strangers though,mostly men. God only knows what has happened to her before she came to us.

Update 23rd July: I am hopefully going to my new home tomorrow, my mum is coming to meet me, mum already has two Second Chance dogs.
