Thanks to Sharon Brown at Scottish Rottweiler club for giving Sasha's mum our number. Sadly, Sasha's mum could no longer keep her although she has been a well loved girl. I didn't have an empty kennel but knew of a lovely couple who sadly " lost " their Second Chance big girl Bella last year and now feel ready to offer another Rottie a home. I phoned Alan and to cut a long story short they are now the proud new " parents " of Sasha. Who came to see us yesterday on her first day in her new home and she has a lovely wee deaf Jack Russell to play with and they are the best of pals already. So a happy ending all round.

This is Pippin (now Rosie )doesn't she look settled in her new home. Thanks folks she's looking great

Hi Ena and Frank

This is the second picture - forgot to add text to the first message - Can't thank you enough for letting us have our wee Rosie - we have had a fab day with her and Sam and Molly - they are all getting on great now - its like she has been here for weeks not hours.

She is a real we cutie and quite cuddly too now that she is getting a bit confident with us.

Sam and Molly seem to be enjoying her too now - she was even allowed in Sams crate with him this afternoon when it got too hot outside - they had a wee cuddle up together until Molly called time and disrupted the peace and quiet!!!!

Going to take them to the beach later when it gets a bit quieter - will send you another pic tomorrow.

Thanks again - Colin and I will need to think of a way to do a bit of fundraising for you and Frank - will get back to you.

Love Heather & Colin

PS Paul is going to do some training with us later in the week - thanks for his number.

Hey Aunty Ena,

Thank you so much for letting me come to live here. It is great fun. Chester was a bit grumpy but I have learned not to dangle from his ears (I just dangle from Fins instead) and he is fine now. Think he has accepted that I am here to stay! What a pair of push overs Cara and Fin are, they tried to make me sleep in a big cage the first night but I just cried and gave them "the eyes" and I was in their bed in minutes. He He! I was scared of the stairs at first but now I love them, run up and down all day and play on them. I have met all my Aunties and have a Gran and Papa and they all love me.

Roxy is lovely and has settled very well. We thought you might like to see this photo of her favourite game.

Awe, Roxy so glad you have settled so well into your new home and are obviously loved to bits. It didn't take you very long to start playing with a ball.

Well, you will never guess what, a couple who already have Lennox a Springer boy they adopted from here about two years ago, came for a visit about tea time and yes you've guessed right they fell in love with me. Lennox is neutered already and a home visit has been done as well.So I could go home right away.

This young man Jasper was adopted about seven years ago, which makes him about 14 years young.
We dropped into see him and his folks just to see how they were getting on, his dad was away fishing, maybe he caught something for Jasper's tea ? He is still as adorable as ever and obviously loved very much.

Murphy >>
Posted: 22nd May 2008

This is Murphy all settled in to his new home and been on holiday, lucky devil.

Dear All

Murphy has settled down really well with us. He really is a lovely dog - full of beans and very friendly. He had to adjust to the three cats - but he really likes them now - except Jack who has taken a bit of a dislike to him from when he used to chase them all. Jack now chases Murphy and Murphy runs a mile.

He gets on fine with the other two cavaliers - esp Spike. He and Barney had a few "disagreements" but Paul Gauchin was really helpful and they have settled down well. Murphy has never been a problem when left - probably because he always has the other dogs as company ( and sometimes a cat or two.

He really enjoyed his holiday in Wester Ross - I enclose a few snaps of him - and he was as good as gold in the cottage we rented. He got lots of long walks so he had the time of his life. We were really glad we were able to take him.

As I said he is really settled - and we think the world of him.

Best Wishes

Linda & Mike Newstead.
