I now have a new Mum & Dad and I chose them all by myself. My mum adopted Jet a GSD puppy from Second Chance, when Ena & Frank worked from home and only had Sula their much cherished Rottwieler. My mum never forgot Sula and sadly Jet passed away about a year ago. Mum saw me on the website thought I looked like Sula and couldn't resist coming to meet me. I came into the reception to meet them and the rest is history.

Posted: 2nd December 2008

Well we had another visitor today in the form of Lady, she is lovely and was adopted from us on the 3rd November 2001 when she was about a year old. Her Mum & Dad are besotted with her and she is looking great. She is a very happy wee girl.It is so nice to see the dogs coming back but when they have been in their home for some years and we haven't seen them for a while it is lovely and just makes what we do so worthwhile.I actually saw this wee girl earlier this year she was out for a walk with her dad I was in the car with Frank when I said stop the car that's Lady, he says are you sure and of course it was.

This is Maryellen & Fraser,
Ena & Mhairi first met them about four years ago when they came for Tegan who is sitting on our dad's knee. Since then they have given a home to Jack & Jake again two Rotts and guess what they called to say they were looking for another Rottie. No the girls are not devious at all. Ena just called them to tell them about me, and guess what they left their home this morning early and I have now gone home with them
Love Boris ( my new name) xx

Tally >>
Posted: 28th November 2008

You can just imagine how thrilled we were to get this e-mail about Tally.

We used to take a few dogs up from Warrington to find them new homes, Tally was one of them and the spooky thing was she came up to Scotland on the 19th August 2006 the same day her folks to be were travelling up to Leuchars from down south. We went to see her a couple of times and phoned about her she had a great life.
Then we rehomed Penny to a lovely family again in Leuchars, and got chatting and we said you must know Tally's mum & dad and Claire said yes they've moved back down south. We were disappointed they hadn't been in touch to say they had moved, but we realize how busy everyone is. But look what arrived this morning !!

Hi Ena,

We took Tally from you in September 2006, when we lived in Leuchars. I just thought that I should let you know that we left Leuchars last March, and took Tally to our "real" home in Yorkshire. She loves Yorkshire, where her "garden" is a 3 acre field. But now, she is living with us for a year in Alabama, America! She loves it here, where it is always sunny - she just sunbathes all day, everyday! She also loves the swimming pool in the garden, and chasing squirrels! We wonder if she is your most travelled dog, and we love her to bits!!!
Kind regards,
Emma, Scott, Alistair, Heather and Tally x

So at the moment we have Katie a Beardie type, who went to Houston Texas with her folks when her dad got a job over there. Then Zues our Rottie who now stays in Colorado springs.- Daisy is in Norway.Zak is in New Zealand .Also Daisy another wee dog goes abroad all the time with her owners, Molly our wee Jack spent three months in Italy Thank you all for being so committed to our past residents, and making them part of your family. Some pics would be nice now

This is the day back in 2006 that Chloe ( as was ) now Tally went home.

This is me with my lovely family, don't we all look so happy! Strange thing is I arrived from Warrington the same day my mum moved up here from England, spooky or what?!

Best news of the day the kennels have just phoned to see what kind of night I had, My mum says I'm just perfect in every way.

Chloe xx

She met a few of the cats today but didn't know what to make of them , her mum says they will soon put her in her place .

Rudy (Becky) >>
Posted: 24th November 2008

Hi Ena,

Just a wee update for you, Rudy (nee Becky) is doing great, she's loves the beach, the park, the woods, any kind of walk at all! She never sits still so most of our photo's of her are out of focus, or they are of her tail, ear etc....but I've attached a few for you anyway. Our decorator was over the other day and said she was like Bambi! She kept peeking round the door at him, then nicked his roller, paintbrushes etc....wee scamp!

I hope you are well. We'll pop over for a visit before Xmas, and in the meantime here are some pics of her, I can't believe we've had her a week already. Mac even allows her in his bed, as long as he's not in it at the same time!!

Speak to you soon,
Cheers

Well this girl has certainly landed on all four paws, when we first took her down she was so hyper but with time and love she has blossomed into such a lovely girl and she loves her playmates.Just as well there are only three colours for Labs hehe.

Hi Ena
Got your leaflet looking for donations of old clothes, linen etc. Unfortunately we were away at the weekend and got back late last night and didn't have time to sort anything out.

Fiona is going to look out some stuff tomorrow and hand them into the kennels.

Please find attached updated photos of Rosie playing with her pals Sam and Molly. She is a treasure - we wouldn't be without her and as you can see she is having a ball with her other four legged buddies.

Best Wishes
Heather & Colin
